Fearful people, or those who suffer from fear on any level tend to deal with their fears usually by: surrendering to them, by not taking risks, by avoiding them, by withdrawing from fearful situations, or by simply doing jack-shit. The problem here is all these strategies can give you temporary relief and a false sense of accomplishment, but very often these behaviors can create a long term negative sense of inadequacy, helplessness, low-self esteem, frustration and unhappiness. Clearly avoiding to take your fears head on is not a good thing for your future.
