In Part 2 of our series I outlined the first step necessary to build a 'Branded' business:  Developing and Understanding the Business Mindset. In many instances this is the most crucial step for success as the correct foundation must be laid mentally before any serious research or money is spent building your business.

In Part 1 of our series I outlined all the steps necessary to building your own 'Branded' business. In doing so, I discussed why it is important to create a branded business, rather than one that is not properly and heavily branded. I also gave you the sense that anything is possible with the right plan and thinking, and that building your own business can be one of the most rewarding challenges in your life.

During the good old days at Unilever and Shell, I was lucky enough to be a part of some of the most successful marketing and business departments in the world.

I have been in business for many years, in Corporate America pushing consumer products and an entrepreneur in South Africa pushing everything from beds to coffee.  The thing that has irked me the most is people who believe they deserve to be wealthy and successful because of who they are and their own personal circumstances.
